I created this image in reference to a painting by Stella Im Hultberg, an artist whom I admire and look up to.
The modelling part was mostly done in Zbrush, I painted the textures in Mari and rendered with Arnold in Maya.
A character that is based on illustrations by WLOP .
I sculpted her in Zbrush and retypologized in Maya. For the hair I used Xgen.
For rendering I use V-Ray and finally, Nuke and After Effects for compositing.
For this bedroom scene I also used
Maya, Nuke, Photoshop and VRay.
My goal was to create an industrial yet cozy looking room.
At the end of my studies, I created my first demo reel to show everything that I have learned. I was responsible for all steps of the pipeline, from the idea to the final images. During this process I have used the skills I was taught at
Pixl VISN Media Arts academy, while continuously finding new tools to improve my workflow.
This was one of the homework assignments I did during my time at Pixl VISN, the task was to model and
texture a limited amount of assets and create an exterior scene from it. I used Maya, Photoshop, Mental Ray and Nuke.
